Father-Daughter Dance

Elizabeth and Megan joined Girl Scouts this year for the first time and while they won't be selling cookies over here, they're enjoying their new social activity after school on Friday afternoons. Elizabeth, especially, has already made some good friends in her Daisy troop and since most of the moms in her troop attend the meetings, I've enjoyed participating as well.

One of the highlights during the school year is the annual Father-Daughter Dance, which was held last weekend at SAS. Brian was a lucky man with two dates for the evening. With a "circus" theme, we didn't have many options for costumes here but Elizabeth's troop got together and purchased masks to wear with leotards, creating a Cirque du Soleil theme for their group. She apparently loved donning a mask at the dance, as Brian reported she didn't remove it the entire evening. Megan, on the other hand, opted to wear a pretty dress for her date instead.

They had a fun evening out with Daddy and their Girl Scout friends!
