Yes, that's right. A six-pack of Jell-O costs S$16.70 (that's nearly $13 USD) in Singapore. You have to pay hefty price for the joy of cool and smoothy gelatin in cute little plastic cups. Add that to the list of items I will likely never buy while living here. After all, I can head over to the baking aisle and buy a box of the old-fashioned make-it-yourself Jell-O for a more reasonable price of S$4 instead. I'll save my extra cash for the occasional splurge of having Grands cinnamon rolls. They cost S$12 per can. It's the downside of life on a small Asian island.
