Lovely Little Luxury

While I try to avoid the grocery store these days, I still end up there on a weekly basis to buy a few items. Inevitably a bunch of orchids come home with me as well. Ever since we moved here I feel like I should have fresh flowers in the house, maybe to compensate for the stark white walls that surround us. I normally choose orchids because they are relatively inexpensive and I love their soft look and variety of colors. A bouquet of Singapore's most prevalent flower is one of my favorite little indulgences while living here. I suppose it's possible that the weekly grocery trip is really just an excuse to buy more flowers...
