Last Days of Summer

After returning from the US, we had almost 3 weeks before school started again in Singapore. And unlike the rest of the summer, I had absolutely no plans scheduled for the girls during that time. Yes, I was a little nervous about the situation.

Once we adjusted back to Singapore time and everyone caught up with their long lost toys, my mission was simple. I needed to get the girls out of the house each day and wear them out.

We made trips to the zoo, the water park, Science Centre and various indoor and outdoor playgrounds. We were delighted whenever we heard of another family returning from their summer travels so we could schedule play dates with them.

In the end, I'm glad we had no camps scheduled those last couple weeks because we all enjoyed the more flexible schedule and after being gone for 6 weeks, it felt good to just get reacquainted with Singapore again.

Hello, Megan!

We spent our last few days of summer getting ready for school with errands like uniform shopping and the traditional back-to-school haircut excursion. :)

The day before Megan started school we spent all afternoon at our old home, Riverplace Condos, catching up with friends at a BBQ hosted by the Sievers family. It was the perfect way to end the summer!
