Vicki and Steve arrived after a long but smooth journey on Saturday, 29-January. We didn't have room in the car for the entire family plus luggage at the airport so the girls had to wait at home for that much anticipated moment when their beloved grandparents would walk through the door. As expected, Gran and Papa were welcomed into our home by three shrieking girls that evening!
It had been about 6 months since the girls had spent time with them but they immediately bonded again. When I feel bad that we live so far away from grandparents, I can find consolation in how quickly they pick up right where they left off from their last visit together. That was apparent at bedtime the first night. :)
