Hello, Summer!

Last Day of School

Megan and Elizabeth finished the school year on Thursday and it's amazing that even though we experience warm weather year-round, when I was able to wake up without an alarm clock Friday, suddenly it felt like summer again.

The last day of school was just a formality. The girls only went for half the day and were both home by lunchtime. Megan jumped into the pool in her school clothes and after eating some lunch, all three girls went down to the pool for most of the afternoon. It was the perfect way to kick off our summer!

Emily still has one week left at her school before she's done at Blue House Nursery. When school starts in mid-August, Emily will attend SAS for the first time in the Pre-K program Elizabeth just finished. Elizabeth will start Kindergarten in Primary School and Megan will begin 3rd grade in the Intermediate School.  While I'm looking forward to having all three girls on the SAS campus this fall, I will thoroughly enjoy a break from the 6am alarm over the next couple months. And the entire family is excited about our summer plans back in the US!
